Stanislav Benada, Country manager, Slovakia
Stanislav studied at the Technical University of Ostrava, graduating as an engineer in 1981 and in 2005 receiving a Ph.D. in Geology. He holds a full certificate for mining activity and geological works in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
From 1983 to 1999 Stanislav worked for Moravské naftové doly (MND), the state oil & gas company in the Czech Republic, in various positions including field geologist, senior geologist, head of the exploration department and in 1998-1999 as General Director of MND. His main areas of overseas operations being the Czech Republic and Turkey.
In 2000 he founded the company TAXES OIL Ltd. a geology and hydrocarbon focussed consultancy. From 2006 he has worked as Country Manager for Aurelian in Slovakia, playing an important role in the acquisition of Aurelian’s licences and the development of its projects.
