Vladimir Rosca, Country manager, Romania

Vladimir Rosca joined Aurelian in 2002. He is a geophysicist with over 35 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. He graduated from the Bucharest Oil & Gas Institute and was employed for eight years by Prospectiuni SA as party chief for ground magnetometry and spectrometry exploration methods, followed by 14 years as a senior geophysicist researcher for the Geological Institute of Romania.

In 1997 Vladimir was appointed country manager in Romania for Marine and Mercantile Securities plc, the company which eventually became Aurelian's Romanian subsidiary. He joined Ramco in 1999 and was responsible for carrying out activities under the exploration and production sharing contract with Petrom SA, including all exploration activities on the Moinesti block.

Since 1999, Vladimir has been involved from inception in all Aurelian's exploration projects in Romania in the Brodina, Cuejdiu, Bacau and Suceava blocks, and more recently in the development project on the Brodina block. He is an active member of Romanian Society of Geophysics, the Bucharest Geosciences Forum and is an associate member of Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
