David Prior, Non-executive Director.
Mr. Prior is a barrister with experience in investment banking with Lehman Brothers, Lazard Frères and Dillon Read and in the commercial sector with British Steel and a number of private industrial companies. In 1997 he became a Member of Parliament and subsequently Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive of the Conservative Party. After the 2001 General Election he went into the private equity business and became chairman of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
He holds a BA in law from Cambridge University and was called to the bar in 1977.
David has been a member of the Board since 2006 and Chairman since 2007 and is a member of the Audit Remuneration and Nominations committees. He will retire as Chairman after the 2010 Annual General Meeting but will remain a Non-executive Director.
