Historia działań firmy Aurelian w Rumunii

W 2002 r. firmie Aurelian przyznano koncesje na bloki Brodina, Bacau i Cuejdiu. Po sukcesie trzech odwiertów eksploracyjnych w piaskowcach sarmackich spółka w 2006 r. zbudowała i oddała do eksploatacji instalację wydobywczą Bilca. W 2006 r. od firmy Regal przejęto 50% potencjalnie gazonośnego bloku Suceava.

Od tego czasu dokonano dalszych odkryć w obszarze Vicsani-1, co w połączeniu z sukcesem otworu udostępniającego Fratauti-2 i zainstalowaniem urządzeń sprężających w zakładzie Bilca pozwoliło spółce na osiągnięcie w 2009 r. rekordowego poziomu wydobycia na poziomie 1 bcf. Opracowaliśmy ekonomiczny model biznesowy, odkrywając i zagospodarowując małe zbiorniki płytkiego gazu przy koncesjach Suceava i Brodina na rumuńskich nizinach.

Firma Aurelian dokonała także kilku odkryć, które zamierza przekształcić w komercyjne złoża za pomocą technologii sprężonego gazu ziemnego (CNG). Są to Boistea-1 (Cuejdiu), Dornesti-Sud (Suceava) oraz (w ubiegłym roku) Lilieci-1 (Bacau).

Firmę Aurelian łączy silne i istotne partnerstwo z przedsiębiorstwem Romgaz. Te strategiczne relacje budujemy już od prawie dziesięciu lat.

Najbardziej ekscytującym projektem było odkrycie w 2009 r. złoża Voitinel-1 w zachodniej części bloku Brodina. Ten odwiert był pierwszym wejściem firmy Aurelian w system pasma nasunięć. Prawdopodobna ilość gazu w złożu to nawet 400 bcf, co pokazuje ogromny potencjał tego typu systemów.

Rok 2010 będzie bardzo ważny dla Rumunii. Poddamy ocenie odkryte złoże Voitinel i przeprowadzimy badania sejsmiczne w celu ustalenia, czy może ono stać się kluczowym obszarem dla firmy Aurelian; jeśli stwierdzimy, że nie może to być nasz obszar kluczowy, to opuścimy ten teren i skoncentrujemy się na naszych obszarach kluczowych w innych miejscach.
 
Historia działań firmy Aurelian w Bułgarii
Golitza-1 – nasz pierwszy odwiert w Bułgarii z 2007 r. – miał na celu badanie bardzo dużej struktury; niestety stwierdzono w nim brak gazu.

Później program badań sejsmicznych 3D przeprowadzony przez operatora JKX pozwolił na stwierdzenie szeregu struktur, w których można prowadzić wiercenia. Potencjalna ilość gazu w każdej z tych struktur to ok. 10 bcf (netto; udział firmy Aurelian). Znaczna część udziału firmy Aurelian w kosztach tego badania została zaspokojona poprzez wydzierżawienie części koncesji firmie Sorgenia. W 2010 r. będziemy badać potencjał jeszcze jednej lub dwóch struktur rozpoznanych w ramach nowych badań w tym potencjalnie gazonośnym obszarze. Następnie zostanie podjęta decyzja o dalszym rozwoju działań biznesowych lub o odsprzedaniu tego obszaru.
